    I swear this man can tell what you are craving just by looking at you. Without fail, I walk in, he says "we have..." and I order it right away. Every time it's been delicious. Empanadas are great, the cannolis are great, the sandwiches are great, order anything. It's all good.

    I love this place so much that I come everytime I think of ANY breakfast sandwich with FRESH chips mix. It is such a delight to come to this place and know that every-time my food will be made the best way. Mr. Louis (the owner) is very very nice and always remembers my order and the ambiance of the store is so clean and smells good everytime you step in.

    My family and I had stopped by The Local Baker many times in the past. We normally just grab some deserts and head out. However, we recently ordered catering items from The Local Baker for our wedding and were so amazed with the items quality and fair prices. We ordered lemon squares and cookies, which were a big hit with our guests! The staff was also very flexible and communicative with pick up times. We'd definitely recommend to anyone looking for desert catering!

    I was walking through downtown Upland and looking for a snack when I found this little cafe. The service was great, it was my first time here and he was so patient with me while I was looking over the options. I decided on a Japanese curry empanada and WOW!! It was so yummy and flavorful , I'll definitely be back. Also got a snickerdoodle and chocolate chip cookie and they hit the spot too!
